![]() | Alessandro Di Fiore is the Founder and CEO at ECSI and Chairman of the Board at Harvard Business Review Italia. Before ECSI, he has worked for more than 20 years in management consulting, initially in large international groups, then he has founded his European strategy boutique called Venture Consulting. Recently he sold Venture Consulting to Tefen, an international management consulting company floated on Tel Aviv stock exchange. In his consulting career he has advised more than 25 Fortune 500 companies in several countries on strategy and organizational change matters. Alessandro Di Fiore is a featured and recurrent blogger on Harvard Business Review (www.hbr.org), author of articles and cases, and speaker at international conferences on topics like Innovation Management, Blue Ocean Strategy and Strategy Execution. He holds a Master of Science in Economics & Business from Federico II University in Italy and has earned the PPL (President Program in Leadership) at Harvard Business School. He is the European Educational Chair for YPO-WPO (www.ypo.org), the largest business leaders association in the world, for 2011-13. |
![]() | Jean-Paul Gaillard is a Swiss born citizen who conducted his studies in Switzerland, England and the USA. He holds an MBA at UCLA. Mr. Gaillard’s international professional experience includes positions in General Management and Marketing for major multinationals such as Philip Morris Companies and Nestlé, as well as with medium-sized companies in industrial products and FMCG. He is highly experienced and successful in managing major strategic changes. Jean-Paul’s globally known achievements include the creation and international expansion of the Marlboro Classics brand for Philip Morris, and the disruptive innovation of Nespresso for the Nestlé Group (likely the most successful new business launched internationally in consumer goods sector). At Nespresso, he defined and implemented the business model and created the Nespresso Club. He oversaw and led the development of Nespresso as an international group of companies (Nestlé was the shareholder). He also oversaw as CEO the reorganization of Moevenpick’s Food Division and the acquisition of Ben & Jerry’s by Unilever. Mr. Gaillard is recognized as one of the most respected innovator and business leader in the world. |
